Compound Word Jigsaw Puzzles
Students are divided into groups. Every member of each group is given a different topic from those
given to other students in the same group. Students who have similar topics can form a group to study
and discuss the topic. Each student, then, gets back to his original group with intensive experience.
Role of the teacher Lesson
To prepare the topics to be distributed among students, explain the strategy to them, determine the
role of each student in the activity and finally assess their performance.
Role of the learner Lesson
To actively participate in the performance of activities and learn by himself\herself and through
his\her group.
